So, today, in order to jumpstart my day with an appropriate amount of vengeance, I cooked butter lettuce, romaine lettuce, kale, chopped celery, chopped ginger, and green chiles together in a big pot. I ate them with green tea in lieu of coffee and went out for a twenty minute walk.
For lunch, I cooked chopped chicken breasts, onions, tomatoes, and garlic together and served them over brown rice. I drank water along with it.
A few hours later, I did ten push ups and drank more green tea.
I’ll be telling you soon about my skin and hair care routines, and about my planned psychological warfare tactics. This guy is going to feel wistful, oh yes.
Oh! Also, today I applied whitening strips to my teeth. Not tidily. But I applied them. Pretty soon I’ll tell you what I had for dinner.
Edit: the promised update! Dinner is a sweet potato, cold steamed greens, a miniature banana, a plum, and just a bit of beef jerky. I drank three glasses of water just before I ate; I was thirsty!
Hi There!!
I left this comment on my blog – but wanted to make sure you got it 😀
Thank you so much for coming to my blog! I am really excited that you want in on the Challenge!! I looked at your blog and applaud you!! It’s not easy to put your emotions out in “cyber space” 😀 So congrats!! It sucks that you are upset over the loss of your relationship, but you know what? It sounds cliche – but everything happens for a reason, everything!! And if you hadn’t gotten “dumped”, maybe you would’ve never stumbled upon my blog! And now we can be friends and help each other become healthy – body, mind, spirit!! Yaaaaay! Anyways … your lunch sounds healthy and tasty!! If you wanted to take it a step further, however, you would omit the brown rice – and add more veggies instead (like a salad or steamed veggies, something like that 🙂 ) Grains can be super hard to digest and can make it hard on some of us to lose weight and to feel good 😀 You should check out MarksDailyApple.com – this guy has some amazing thoughts on nutrition!! Good luck and keep in touch!
Jenny
Hi Jenny! Good morning! I’m glad that I found you. =) I’m all excited about the primal challenge too. Can you say yarrrrr? ‘Cause I can: yarrrrrr!
I love the white stips – but my teeth started to “zing” and made me uncomfortable.
Now I use a whitening rinse everyday with great results! These whitening things work wonders for the smile!
🙂
Oooh! Where did you find a whitening rinse? I’ve been having trouble with the strips because they crumple and squish in an aggravating way as I put them on my teeth.
It’s plain ol’ Crest Whitening Rinse located with the mouthwashes. I had a jumpstart using the strips for a few days and I just maintain the whiteness with the rinse.
I’ve been doing that for over a year and it seems to work well. 😀
